Persuant to Section 213 of the Clean Air Act (42 U.S.C. section 7574) and 40 CFR 1048, 1051, and 1065, and subject to the terms and conditions prescribed in those provisions, the certificate of conformity is hereby issued with respect to the test engines which have been found to conform to applicable requitements and which represent the following non-road engines, by engine family, mre fully described in the documentaion requied by 40 CFR 1048 and preoduced in the stated model year.

Nonroad Spark-Ignition Engine Family: 5NGVB02.4LSI

This certificate of conformity covers only those new nonroad spark-ignition engines which conform in all material respects to the design specifications that applied to those engines described in the documentation required by 40CFR 1048 and which are produced during the model year stated on this cerificate of the said manufacturer, as defined in the 40 CFR 1048. This certificate of conformity does not cover nonroad engines imported prior to the effective date of the certifiate.

It is a term of this certificate that the manufacturer shall consent to all inspection described in 40 CFR 1068.20 and authorized in a warrant or court order. Failure to comply with the requirements of such a warrant or court order may lead to revocation or suspension of this cerificate for reasons specified in 40 CFR 1048. It is also a term of this certificate that this certificate may be revoked or suspended or rendered void ab initio for other reasons specified in 40 CFR 1048.

This certificate does not cover nonraod engines sold, offered for sale, or introduced, or delivered for introduction, into commerce in the U.S. prior to the effective date of this certificate.

Executive Order: U-L-027-0004 New Off-road Large Spark-Ignition Engines at & above 25 Horsepower

Pursuant to the authority vested in the Air Resources Board by the Health and Safety Coade, Division 26, Part 5, Chapters 1 and 2; and

Pursuant to the autority vested in the undersigned by health and Safety Code Secation 39515 and 39516 and Executive Order G-02-003;

IT IS ORDERED AND RESOLVED: That the following new large spark-ignition engines and emission control systems produced by the manufacturere are certified for use in off-road equipment as described below. Production engines shall be in all material respects the same as those for which certification is granted.

The following are the hydrocarbon plus oxides of nitrogen (HC+NOx) and carbon monoxide (CO) exhaust certification emmission standards (Title 13, California Code of Regualtions, (13 CCR) Section 2433(b)(1)) and certification emission levels for this engine family in grams per brake horsepower-hour (g/bhp-hr). Engines within this engine family shall have closed crankcases in conformance with 13 CRR section 2433(b)(2).

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That for the listed engines for the aforementioned model-year, the manufacturer has submitted, and the Executive Officer hereby approves, the information and materials to demonstrate certification compliance with 13 CRR section 243(c) (certification and test procedures), 13 CCR Section 2434 (emissions control labels), and 13 CRR Sections 2435 and 2436 (emissons control system warranty).

Engines certified under this executive order must conform to all applicable California emissions regulations.

This Executive Order is only granted t the engine family and model-year listed above. Engines in this family that are produced for any other model-year are not covered by this Executive Order.
